27 Reasons Foundation

27 Reasons Foundation is designed to teach children and teenagers the growth mechanics of self-discipline and empowerment regardless of socio-economic status or learning impairment. Our organization mission has one goal: to GIVE. GIVE of ourselves to improve the lives of our youth.

The 27 Reasons Foundation was founded by David Macklin, a National Football League cornerback, because of his commitment to community service and to children. The foundation is based on twenty-seven (27) principles that help support our Reason Kids and Reason Teenagers with steps necessary to accomplish their desired goals. The 27 principles selected relate to the 27 positive keys one needs in life. We provide growth opportunities for our future generation through programs, activities and community ventures. We focus not only on spiritual growth, leadership and development but also focus on children who are struggling with family support.
